500,000 marched in support of Palestinians - London 17 May 2025

"Yesterday over 500,000 of us marched in London to commemorate 77 years of the ongoing Nakba and to demand an end to Israel’s genocide in Gaza."  www.palestinecampaign.org

Many of the placards and posters on display at the march against genocide and starvation of Palestinians by Israelis.

Shamefully, western media and governments are more interested in talking of Trump's tariffs and his personal deal-making with Arabs than calling for a ceasefire and end to Israeli genocide and starvation of Palestinians.

The march started at Embankment and proceeded towards Big Ben and Westminster Bridge.  Some photos were taken on Whitehall (the road connecting Trafalgar Sq to The Houses of Parliament).  Click on an image to enlarge and read a caption (if any).

Pleasantly surprised the photos came out sharper and brighter than expected, and that the text on the placards can be read (Nikon D3300 on autofocus, autoflash and Auto setting.  Just point and shoot).
