Here's how you can get fillthy rich while you're in office or after leaving office (ideas are derived from the video - see link below). The first figure is the politician's worth at the time he/she entered office and the second is their wealth on leaving office (note the second is massively larger than the former):
Shelby $200K - $20m Turn your wife and children into lobbyists paid by businesses that will directly benefit from legislation you pass Invest in those companies. then give government contracts to them Buy properties located near government development sites before you award contracts to develop those sites. Use blind trusts and third parties to technically remain disconnected from investments that will gain in value from your policies and political work. Pelosi $2m to $120m+ If asked how you become so wealthy, claim stock-picking talent or just plain good luck with investment timing, e.g., buying Microsoft shares just before it got a $22bn government contract, or buying VISA during legislation affecting it. Get your spouse to run a VC firm to invest in businesses that will benefit from favourable legislation you will pass. Be a master at deflecting searching questions about wealth accumulation while in office and on a modest salary. MAINTAIN "PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY" McConnell $100K to $35m Take a financial gift from your spouse ($25m). to be repaid by appointing your wife as transportation secretary, so she can directly influence the fortunes of shipping businesses owned by her family. Resist or support legislation that will benefit businesses you have invested in. Feinstein $3m - $90m Get your husband's investment company to invest in businesses (investee businesses) you regulate and which will be awarded contracts by you, e.g., $billions of conracts awarded to investee companies by US postal service - contracts overseen by you. If pressed, claim the gain in value of investments by your husband in companies subsequently awarded contracts by you, was PURE COINCIDENCE Support an organisation, such as FDIC, and expect a payback from it for your support - such as the organisation awarding your husband an exclusive contract (FDIC subsequently awarded the husband an exclusive contract to sell possessed properties-earning him >$100m in commissions). If investigated, claim government work you did was kept separate from your spouse's investment business. The get rich model is: the politician makes the policies, the spouse makes the profits. Clintons $700K - $120m After govt office, claim speaking fees from companies that did or will benefit from your policies. Start a Foundation to collect money from foreign govts or corporations seeking political favours. Receive donations from companies that will benefit from you, e.g., Clintons received $millions from mining companies ahead of H Clinton approving their sale to Russia. and Clintons got a donation from UBS ahead of H Clinton sorting out UBS's tax problem. If questioned about personal wealth creation while in office, deflect by talking of 'global initiatives and charitable work' you do, and maintain plausible deniability. Corker $4m+ - $69m Create complexity and financial wizardry to confuse and delay investigators. Claim 'lucky timing' when asked about stock price gains of companies you invest in, that benefit from your policies. Claim "accounting oversight" if a journalist spots earnings from your investments that you did not report previously. Buy land ahead of awarding a contract to erect a factory on nearby land that is bound to send property prices through the roof. Brag openly about having business acumen if questioned about your wealth increases while in office. Revise your disclosures multiple times, if you are investigated. Gingrich $400K - $9m After office, become a consultant for companies that benefitted from your policies and actions while you were in office. Perfect the art of 'influence peddling without technically lobbying' Establish a think tank to collect fees from companies you supported while in office, e.g. $300K fee for being a historian for Freddie MAC Charge corporations for access to your network of contacts. Arrange book deals, speaking tours, and provide 'strategic advice' to those willing to pay. Cultivate your political brand Reid $1m - >$10m Buy cheap land that will increase in value from policies you pass, e.g., $1m earned from land transferred to a friend of yours, even though you did not own the land you transferred. Get the family to work as lobbyists for companies that will gain from policies you push. Keep transactions "just legal enough to avoid consequences" from investigations, and always claim "pure coincidence" when asked how your personal investments aligned perfectly with your political policies. Menendez £200K - $ When accepting bribes, accept gold bars, cash, cars or offers to pay your mortgage payments. Get your wife appointed to the company seeking political favours from you. Accept gifts from foreign governments. Refuse to resign, even when the evidence against you is 'overwhelming' Blunt $1m - $>8m Establish a family business where the family work as lobbyists for companies you support, e.g., get the wife to lobby for Kraft Foods while you block food safety regulations. Buy property near government developments you approve. Readily ignore the spirit of conflict of interest rules but be technically compliant with those rules. Always deny any connection between winning votes and your family's enrichment. Keep politics in the family, i.e., enlist your family members so you become rich while in office. Most people in the West probably know the actor John Wayne was a racist, but what of other famous actors and film makers?
Some of these racists' attitudes towards and and beliefs about, non-white people were extremely deep-rooted, and they were unapologetic about holding such views. Some hated Jews so their racism was not only against non-whites. Some racists secretly admitted they were wrong to hold such views, but they and their studios kept quiet about them in public. Those shown below are from the Hollywood era long gone, and so excludes racists of present-day Hollywood. This video (called: "Classic Hollywood Celebrities Who Were Racist In Reality") describes each racist's racist nature and beliefs. People who were once admired or respected are now repulsive, and their films will no longer be remembered fondly nor will they be watched again. Watch these two videos (click below) of senator Murphy listing the many many acts by Trump or his loyalists and family members, to enrich the Trump clan. Many of these are unconstitutional, illegal, and/or immoral while US president.
Trump has taken profiteering to another level at a pace unheard of from any other US president. What is also different is how publicly he is enriching himself, as though publicity will cleanse his dirty dealings. One way he is making money is through payments to him by people who are being investigated for possible transgressions, or payments to him by people who want their businesses to make big profits. Trump arranges for investigations to be dropped or for laws to be changed that favour the businesses that are making payments to Trump, such as oil companies. Trump is selling personal meetings with him: $5m for a meeting, and $1m for dinner. There was a time when a mayor who charged $200 for personal meetings "would be arrested and run out of town" according to Sen Murphy. Trump has brokered a deal so that PGA golf tournaments are now held at his golf courses, which the PGA had refused previously. So many people or companies who donated to Trump's inaugaration fund subsequently called on him and received his favours, such as investigations to be dropped or for them to be pardoned. Trump has accepted a $400m aeroplane from Quataris, which he may personally retain when he leaves office. His son and the mid East envoy foremed a private company that received an investment of $2bn. This is the envoy - someone who has political connections, as does his son, i.e., the $2bn donation is a price for access and politcal or personal favors the Quataris are seeking from Trump. Now, Trump has removed laws so it is no longer illegal for US companies to bribe foreign governments to get lucrative business contracts. This change is an open invitation by Trump to US companies to bribe people for profit without fear of being convicted. 01 May 2025 Murphy (link) slams Trump’s First 100 Days: This Is A Story Of Incompetence, Theft, Mind-Blowing Corruption 13 May 2025 Murphy On (link) Trump’s Middle East Trip: This Is A National Security Disaster And A Moral Abomination Watch this video to learn of facts about the slavery not taught in schools. The facts are mostly about the African slave trade but not exclusively: 22 facts relate to white slave owners and 1 to 'Arab' slave owners, showing that slavery is not only perpetrated by whites.
1 Treating humans as a commodity, i.e., people denied human rights, and placing a value on them based on their ability to make a profit - so the most valuable slaves were 25-year old black men, followed by child-rearing black women. 2 Using slaves without their consent, for human experiments - rather like those by Nazis on Jews 3 How Africans themselves sold Africans into slavery. Search for 'James Marion Sims' to learn of his inhumane experiments on slaves. 4 How slaves were forced to breed so the slave population increased so increasing productivity and profits for slave owners 5 How slaves who were free or who had escaped through the Underground Network, were captured and re-sold into slavery by the Reverse Underground Network. White laws did not allow blacks to testify against whites, so blacks could not make their legal case for freedom. 6 How slaves were branded, just like branding cows, for identification 7 The breeding of savage dogs to capture runaway slaves 8 The Zong mass killing in which ship's captain, Zong, murdered 132 slaves in order to make a claim on an insurance policy for their lost "cargo" (the slaves). 9 How a black man who had been an 'indentured servant' and after that ended he bought himself, a black man (John Kaser) for life. Indentured servitude is not slavery, but owning a person for life is closer to, if not actually being, slavery. 10 Slave owners and missionaries used the Slave Bible to justify slavery, to indoctrinate slaves to become christians, and to suppress slave rebellion and to convince slaves that slavery was acceptable and normal. 11 Branding slaves who attempted to escape slavery as being mentally ill (suffering from Drapetomania); claiming certain (fake) diseases and illnesses were only suffered by slaves or negroes; that blacks were mentally inferior to whites and they were naturally suited to servitude, and that slavery was their only route to happiness. A guy called Samuel Cartwright was "Professor of Diseases of the Negro" Another of Cartwright's fake diseases afflicting slaves was laziness. 12 Convict leasing aka slavery. After slavery was abolished, many blacks were unemployed. 13 Unemployed blacks to be convicted for being unemployed. As convicts, they were leased out to businesses and forced to perform hard labour, i.e., they were treated as slaves. 14 Millions of Africans were enslaved AFTER the abolition of the slave trade, i.e., the trade continued internationally. 15 Slaves' accommodation was inhumane, causing them physical and psychological suffering. 16 Specific laws (slave codes) were designed to prevent slave rebellion and the perpetuation of slavery of blacks generation after generation. 17 The US domestic slave trade began with the abolition of importation by the US of slaves. That ban had the unintended consequence of forcing the separation of slave family members - because whites wanted to send them elsewhere to work as slaves, because slaves from overseas were no longer available. Slave family members were under the constant fear that their family would be separated at any moment. 18 The Underground Railroad was an escape network made up of people committed to freeing slaves. It helped 100K slaves escape in a period of 40 years in the early 1800s. An analogy would be the network to help Jews escape the Nazis. 19 American slaves were slaves in urban settings not only plantations, and were forced to work in may trades, many involving skills. They contributed to the econoic development and prosperity of cities, but without the benefits. 20 Slaves did rebel, for ex, the Haitian Revolution of the 1700s which ended French slavery and created the country today known as Haiti. 10% of sea voyages of slaves involved a rebellion by the slaves. The rebellion led by Nat Turner (a slave) triggered debate over slavery, tightened the grip of whites over slaves, and resulted in savage reprisals by whites. 21 The East African slave trade (aka Arab slave trade) continued long after the whites abolished slavery - although as noted, whites' abolishment of slavery did not end immediately in practical terms. The EA slave trade proves slavery was a global disease afflicting supremacists who were not only white-skinned. 22 The 'Middle Passage' refers to the inhumane conditions aboard slave ships transferring slaves to their destinations where they'd work as slaves. 23 Slavery has not ended; it is a reality for 50 million people across the world, many of them children: 'modern slavery' exists under different names: forced marriage, forced labour, and human trafficking |
