Ealing, London 12 July 2025 Ealing Friends of Palestine stall

On another very hot summer's day, I attended the Ealing Friends of Palestine stall outside the old library in Acton Town, Ealing.  The stall's aim was to spread the message of Ealing Council's disgraceful complicity in the Israeli regime's genocide, starvation, displacement or oppression of Palestinians, through the council's £112m+ investments.

The same stall as 14 June was set up in Ealing Broadway (outside HSBC bank, Uxbridge Rd) on 05 July 2025, at 12pm, to hand out leaflets to, and get signatures from, passers-by to boycott Israeli goods and services.  I did my bit for the cause by handing out leaflets.   Click on a photo to enlarge it.

Ealing, London 14 Jun 2025

I went to this 12pm event today to give my support to calls for companies to stop investing in Israel.  Very few volunteers or supporters turned up.  That might have been because of an emergency StopthewarCoalition protest at Downing Street at 2pm following the widespread bombing by Israel of Iran that led to many deaths and destruction. 

The weather was hot and sunny and that, along with it being Saturday, drew lots of people out onto the streets of central Ealing, London.

Time to pack-up and leave, but first a pose with the leaflet I handed-out.  As usual, I first had to set the distance and focus (using the tree trunk on this occasion) before I stepped into the frame before the 10second countdown ended.

A small stall was placed under the tree in the shade to avoid the intense summer sun today.






The stall was on the New Broadway road moments from Ealing Council offices and opposite Dickens Yard.  A lot of people were walking up and down the road, so getting a successful photo was a matter of luck and timing. 



Posing for shots with a man who is a regular attendee at Ealing events supporting Palestine with his flag, and who recognised me from previous events I attended in support of Palestine.  He generously agreed to pose with me.

The front of the leaflet I handed out today (maybe 4 or 5 in total).  It shows some of the companies that support Israel by buying its goods and services or by offering their goods and services to Israeli companies or the Israeli government.






















The back of the leaflet shows the massive land grab by Israel of Palestine over the years.  It also has details to go online and find out more and to lend support for the boycott of Israel and to put a stop to its genocide and invasion of Palestine.
