Hegseth has no moral compass nor humanity when it comes to engaging in war
15 Mar 2026
A true and damning assessment by Schatz of Hegseth's contempt for the rules of war It is a useful account of the many crass statements he has made that reveal he is not fit for purpose, if purpose is to uphold the Geneva Convention and honour.
"THIS WAS NEVER MEANT TO BE A FAIR FIGHT, AND IT IS NOT A FAIR FIGHT.
WE'RE PUNCHING THEM WHILE THEY AR DOWN, WHICH IS EXACTLY HOW IT SHOULD BE.
THEY ARE TOAST, AND THEY KNOW IT, OR AT LEAST SOON ENOUGH THEY WILL KNOW IT AMERICA IS WINNING DECISIVELY, DEVASTATINGLY, AND WITHOUT MERCY.
[THE US IS WAGING WAR] ALL ON OUR TERMS, WITH MAXIMU[M AUTHORITIES, NO STUPID RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, NO POLITICALLY CORRECT WARS.
WE'RE GOING TO GO ON OFFENSE, NOT JUST ON DEFENSE. MAXIMUM LETHALITY, NOT TEPID LEGALITY. VIOLENT EFFECT, NOT POLITICALLY CORRECT. WE'RE GOING TO RAISE UP WARRIORS, NOT JUST DEFENDERS.
Hegseth finds the Geneva Convention and rules of engagement not just logically ionconvenient, "stupid"

Western double standards exposed by Mirandi in interview with Fogarty of LBC
15 Mar 2026
Disgusting proof of western double standards on who or what is a terrorist organisation according to the west.
This LBC interviewer (Fogarty) referred to Hizballah (H) as partly a terrorist organisation, yet according to the UK government, ALL of H is a terrorist organisation (link). Note how Fogarty justifies that terrorist tag because H attacks Israel, yet there is not terrorist tag given by the British to the Israelis when Israelis commit genocide, ethnic cleansing, apartheid, or when they attack Lebanon.
The interview also revealed the lies spread by the western media because when Marandi asked for names, i.e., real proof, Fogarty had no response, i.e., she was just repeating propaganda.

Trump the liar is humiliated by calling for help to get the oil flowing
15 Mar 2026
Trump keeps on providing more evidence he is an incorrigible liar. Blevins published a post by Trump in which he bragged of having destroyed 100% of Iran's military capability and that Iran has been "decapitated". The reality is far different: it is abundantly clear to anyone who looks that Iran is continuing to launch missiles, so it still has military force and is still deploying it. It is also clear that Iran has new leadership so it has not been "totally decapitated".
Trump's lies could be a desperate attempt to sway public opinion towards him and to hide the reality which is he is losing his war on Iran. As they say, the first casualty of war is the truth. The Israelis too are trying to conceal the truth by a media blackout and threats of jail time for publishing images of damage inflicted on Israel by Iranian missiles.
The other post from Trump is a thinly-veiled plea to friendly states that he needs help to get the oil flowing again through Hormuz. Just days ago he was dismissing ther UK warship on its way to Iran saying it is too late. Now he is openly speaking of a "team effort". Note how Trump trivialises the risk of Iranian missiles firing at ships that attempt to get oil through.

Interesting insight by Gibbs (interviewed by Lottaz) on the mentality of the Americans - to utilise its war machine (and all the various parasites that feed off the war miachine, such as academics, media, lobbies, think tanks) by going out looking for enemies (Iran has been selected), and to attack a country even if there is only a 1% chance of it attacking the US (Cheney).

UN Security Council shows its bias and double-standards
14 Mar 2026
The UNSC also showed it is captured by the US and the Israelis when it passed UNSC Resolution 2817 (read it here) that condemned Iran's attacks on Gulf states. There is no equivalent UNSC resolution condemning the US-Israeli Axis of Evil for its illegal attack, their attacks on Iran's infrastructure and its civilians, including the 160 children murdered in a strike, or confirming that attacks on US military assets in the Gulf states were legitimate targets for the Iranians.
In this clip (at -51 mins), he confirms the attack on the girl's school was a double-tap. A double-tap is a deliberate attempt to murder "first responders". He believes the attack on the school was not a mistake because it was on the first day of the war on Iran, so the hit would have been pre-planned, and also because it was a double-tap attack. He also mentioned a "massacre" of Iranians at a gymnasium - that did not receive media attention.
Iran responded to Resolution 2817 by saying: "“Today’s adoption is a serious setback to the Council’s credibility and leaves a lasting stain on its record...Let me make it clear — this resolution is a manifest injustice against my country, the main victim of a clear act of aggression."
The Russians said: “To our deep regret, the resolution that just passed is expressed […] in a biased and one-sided tone,” The Chinese said "the resolution just adopted “does not fully reflect the root cause and overall picture of the conflict in a balanced manner”."
The representative for the Israelis did not lose the opportunity to publicly condemn Iran, but what he said was the height of hypocrisy: “Targeting civilians is wrong, targeting cities is wrong, and Iran must stop." This from the regime that has murdered tens of thousands of Palestinians, heaped a famine on them, denied them medical aid and food and shelter; is ethnically cleansing Palestine, and has turned Gaza into rubble devoid of civilan infrastructure.
The UNSC showed its lack of independence on 12 Mar (link) when most of its 15 members abstained from, or rejected, a Russian draft resolution to end all hostilities in the war on Iran.
Of the 15 members, Russia, China, Somalia and Pakistan voted for it; US and Latvia rejected it; United Kingdom, France, Bahrain, Colombia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Denmark, Greece, Liberia and Panama abstained. For the resolution to pass, nine votes in favour were needed. The abstentions therefore had the effect of preventing it from passing.
The Russians said of the rejected resolution: “We’re deeply disappointed...This is not even double standards […] we are living through the looking glass.” (see here for an explanation of this idiom).
Civilian infrastructure and civilians must be spared from attacks. The Iranian foreign minister talked of retaliating with "an eye for an eye". That may be so for military assets, but it cannot be so for civilian infrastructure or civilians, even where it is a retaliation for attacks by the Axis of Evil.

Punjab government and Punjabis side with Iran in the war on Iran
14 Mar 2026
I came across this clip by Middle East Eye (MEE) about the Punjab government showing its support for Iran in the war on Iran by the US-Israeli Axis of Evil. Over 1600 comments and of those I read, most were supportive and thankful of Punjabis for siding with Iran. This file shows some of the comments (I could not capture all of them in the screenshot).
This MEE article from 2024 talks of collusion between Indian state forces and Israelis on tactics to suppress the protests of Punjabi farmers.

Petrodollars and preserving US financial dominance, but Iran is changing that dominance
23 Mar 2026
An interesting video on the dollar's global dominance and the intimidation of the US to maintain USD dominance; the creation of petrodollars after the end of the Gold Standard by doing a deal with the Saudis - US military protection in exchange for an agreement that Saudis will sell oil in USD only.
It says the US has gone to war on Iran to maintain the dominance of USD and so enable US to continue to increase the US debt.
This video also discusses petrodollars and the significance of the Hormuz and the strategy of the Iranians to create a US financial crisis by shutting off the supply of oil and hence USD and hence the continued ability of US to raise debt. A decline in the demand for USD will cause a financial crisis in the US.
This video explains how decades of US and Israeli oppression have had the opposite effect-it has galvanised Iranians, made Iran economically independent and able to endure and be ready for war, which has now happened.

The war on Iran and the danger of the depraved murderer, Netanyahu, firing off 120 Israeli nukes at Iran
13 Mar 2026
Diesen interviewed Einar Tangen. The discussion was a warning that the war On Iran could escalate to the point where the depraved barbarian, Netanyahu will set off nukes, but the fallout of that will spread across the skies and affect the entire globe. He said the Chinese see this and are keeping diplomatic channels open to avert nukes.
Tangen was also very pessimistic about the economic and humanitarian impact of the 20m barrels a day not being pumped around the world and the shortage of essential items, such as fertilisers, and the massive costs that will result from the looming energy crisis from less oil.
It was acknowledged that if Iran does as it has before and agree to negotiate, then the Axis of Evil will do as it has done before: use negotiation talks as a decoy to regroup and re-attack Iran. They acknowledged that it is pointless for Iran to sit opposite the US - they are untrustworthy. One diplomatic solution that might avert nukes was for Iran to make a condition (to end the war) that Trump and Netanyahu must go.
They discussed the ideology of the west - of sovereignty and colonialism being seen as forces for good and that the west's domination and subjugation of other people was a good act. They mentioned the disgusting Rubio and cited his comments when he was in Munich in Feb 2026, that the west should return to colonialism. See this link for Rubio's disgusting diatribe and many reports and assessments of it, such as this.

The evil imperialist US regime's blockade of Cuba and the puppet Venezuelan regime, are precipitating a humanitarian crisis in Cuba
13 Mar 2026
FT.com published a piece on the US blockade of Cuba and the humanitarian crisis that is precipitating. My comment was published and highlighted how the US is evil and how the media controls the narrative and what news most people are fed. See also this article for more on the crisis in Cuba.
Rubio, one of Trump's lackeys, has shown by his behaviour that he is morally bankrupt, and more so because he is of Cuban descent.
My comment was removed so I re-posted it without changing. It was published, but perhaps it will again be removed.

Starmer's cunning and subservience on full display as he allows US bombers to fly out of the UK to bomb Iran
12 Mar 2026
Diesen interviewed Marandi. Marandi mentioned the UK had allowed the US to use UK airbases for heavy US bombers en route to Iran.
Starmer's cunning was on full display when he claimed his authorisation of US bombers flying from the UK to attack Iran was a "defensive" measure to "prevent Iran firing missiles across the region, killing innocent civilians, putting British lives at risk and hitting countries that have not been involved... Iran is pursuing a scorched-earth strategy, so we are supporting the collective self-defense of our allies and our people in the region." Starmer said (ref).
France, Germany, and the UK (the E3) issued a joint statement saying: “We will take steps to defend our interests nd those of our allies in the region, potentially through enabling necessary and proportionate defensive action to destroy Iran’s capability to fire missiles and drones at their source.”
"E3 leaders are appalled by the indiscriminate and disproportionate missile attacks launched by Iran against countries in the region, including those who were not involved in initial US and Israeli military operations...Iran’s reckless attacks have targeted our close allies and are threatening our service personnel and our civilians across the region." Note how they omit any reference to US military bases in these Gulf states, and they use emotive words: appalled, indiscriminate, disproportionate, reckless. Note how they rely on the threat to assets rather than point to actual injury to those assets as a justification to attack.
What these countries have not admitted is the Gulf states are harbouring US military bases that could be used to launch attacks on Iran. These Europeans also failed to mention the impossibility of distinguishing bombs dropped for "defensive" measures and so ostensibly in compliance with Starmer's authorisation, and bombs dropped to further the agenda of the Axis of Evil, when both bombs land on the same target - a missile launcher, for example. The effect is Starmer's authorisation of the use of the UK for US bombing raids has just doubled the tonnage of bombs dropped by the US and so in practical terms, Starmer's defensive strategy is furthering the offensive agenda of the Axis of Evil.
Starmer's defensive measure is a ruse for what is clearly an offensive measure that directly supports the US-Israeli Axis of Evil in its wholly illegal and unjustified war on Iran.
This U-turn by Starmer also shows he is a liar because according to Patrick Henningsen (see this video at 46:06), the B52 bombers are needed because the US has depleted its air defence munitions and interceptors, not because of a defensive measure aimed at defending Gulf states.
Regarding US bases in the region, Henningsen also said the US has positioned military bases to shield Israel.

UK government's dual standards on display over Peter Kyle: pro-Israel lobby member and minister who sells to Israel
Declassified UK published a video of UK minister, Peter Kyle, who sells military parts to foreigners including the Israelis, who has not complied with the ministerial code that requires disclosure of potential conflicts of interest. The glaring conflict is he is a member of Israeli lobby group: Labour Friends of Israel. Starmer is on record as saying such a breach should result in expulsion. The guy responsible for policing ethics breaches, (Magnus) like Starmer, has done nothing about Kyle. It is a shameful example of double standards and hypocrisy from the Labour government.
FT.com hedgie incorrectly describes Trump in his war on Iran
11 Mar 2026
FT.com published a piece on the UK possibly raising fuel duty. I posted a comment on the lack of pressure on ending this war and the west's responsibility for rising costs:
It is shocking that the UK government is more inclined to review a hike in fuel taxes rather than apply pressure on the US-Israeli Axis of Evil to end its wholly unjustified and illegal war on Iran. That approach does not surprise me given so many in the UK government, and in the opposition parties, are funded and supported by the pro-Israelis.
Westerners should be left in no doubt that, contrary to what the western media says, rising costs (mortgages, energy, fertiliser and the rest) are entirely because of:a) the warmongering and contempt for human life and international law of Trump and Netanyahu, andb) the weakness, silence, and complicity of spineless western leaders and the UN; behaviour that has emboldened these international terrorists (Trump and Netanyahu) to continue their war crimes with impunity.

Hypocrisy of US politician on full display
10 Mar 2026
A video (11:34) by Napolitano shows US politician Bluementhal condemn the Russians and the Chinese for possibly providing assistance to the Iranians (he had no proof so his comments could be fake news). Supposing his accusations are true, he is a hypocrit because the US has been providing direct support, including intelligence and weapons and money, to the Ukrainians.
A third party, such as the Russians of the Chinese, may do the same as the US is doing for Ukraine, and provide assistance to Iran, and for the US to criticise them is hypocrisy and another illustration of its double-standards.

Zelensky offered drone technology to the US in its war on Iran
10 Mar 2026
Meidas Touch showed a post (see image below) that said in Aug 2025, Zelensky of Ukraine offered Trump technology to help him if he waged war on Iran. That offer illustrates where the Ukrainian leadership's allegiance lies. While it is understandable that Zelensky would be grateful for US military aid and other support in their war against Russia, this post shows he has lost his moral compass when it comes to humanity, justice and the rule of law (if he ever had it).
Perhaps Zelensky was willing to sell his soul because he is desperate for more weapons and other support from the US and thought that offering this tech might secure that help, even if it meant being complicit in an illegal and wholly unjustified war on Iran.
This revelation doesn't diminish my opinion of the right of Ukraine to defend itself, it does, however, lower my opinion of Zelensky as a decent guy.
Update 11 Mar 2026: In this interview by Diesen, Ritter describes Zelensky as: "the man is a is a dog...he's a criminal...he's a Nazi. He's committed horrific crimes."

War on Iran - a bridge too far for the US-Israeli Axis of Evil, says Marandi
10 Mar 2026
Marandi said in an interview by Diesen that Iran will not agree to a ceasefire and that they will demand compensation from the attackers and allies of the US-Israeli "Epstein Coalition". Ceasefires don't result in enduring peace; they just enable the aggressors to regroup and return to attack again - said Diesen. At least twice, they (the US-Israeli alliance) have attacked Iran while peace negotiations were underway. They did the same while Hamas was negotiating a ceasefire in Qatar.
Marandi mentioned Trump's comments (see MSN's coverage here) about destroying Iran the nation - threats that signal war crimes, yet - as Marandi said - the western Media has not reported outrage at these threats. Marandi's comments coincide with my post (see below and image below of Trump's post) about the spineless political leaders such as the G7, being silent and not calling for an end to the war. They should be speaking out especially now that Trump is making such threats of total destruction. He is of course, copying Netanyahu's Dresdenisation of Gaza.
He said 20m barrels per day of oil are not being supplied to the market, and while the G7 releases reserves to offset these, those will be depleted rapidly (perhaps in a couple of months).
Diesen made the insightful observation that the west is "captured by their own narrative", meaning they spread lies and they believe them, and by believing them, they ignore reality. The example cited was the belief by Trump that Iran would not attack US bases in the Gulf states, when it was obvious to those who saw and understood reality, that those attacks were going to happen (and they did). Trump expressed surprise when those bases were attacked, confirming he had been captured by his own narrative.
This video (at 43:47) gives the examples of the Israelis and the US believing their own propaganda (that Hezbollah and the Iranian regime were weak) yet the opposite has turned out to be the case - Hezbolla and the Iran regime are showing they are far from the picture the west and the Israelis had protrayed of them - and then believed themselves.
Marandi said the US-Israeli alliance was bombing infrastructure and he predicted that if that continues, then Iran will destroy (not merely damage) comparable infrastructure across the Gulf states and that would collapse the world economy. He dismissed the despatch of a French warship to Hormuz - almost laughable given their performance against the Russians.
Marandi noted the rise in the oil price was benefitting the Russians, and the redirection of military hardware by the US (from Ukraine and from Sth Korea) would put Ukraine at a disadvantage and Russia will exploit that advantage.
Marandi explained the macronomic effects of the war on Iran - less oil sold so fewer petrodollars so fewer petrodollars invested in the US markets. Gulf states are US satellites and they are no longer a safe investment so less FDI in them so lower US GDP (including that of satellite states). The Gulf states will no longer buy US military hardware so fewer USD to US so lower US GDP.
Marandi said the war on Iran is exposing the regimes that are supporting the Axis of Evil, such as Erdogan of Turkey, and the minor states and groups: Azebhaijan and the Kurds. This ties in with a report on TYT today that talked of a Washington Post article that exposed the two-faced terrorist running Saudi who appears to talk of diplomacy but was secretly egging the US to attack Iran. He said these small pro-US groups had been warned that they will be destroyed if they continue to provoke Iran, and they have gotten the message. Marandi also noted a "sea change" in people's attitude towards Iran as a consequence of this war on Iran, a change that will have lasting effects, and a change that Diesen also sensed - from 2025. Marandi said there has been a noticeable rise in self-confidence of the Iranians following the US-Israeli attacks, and some protestors for regime change had now turned into proactive supporters (of the regime to repulse the US-Israeli alliance).
Diesen asked about the Russia-China influence. Marandi said their relationships with Iran had been strengthened by the war on Iran because China would be threatened if Iran fell and if the Israelis expanded across West Asia, so the Chinese sense the significance of a strong Iran. The Russians may trade with Iran given the geographical proximity and distance from the US.

FT.com continues to mislabel war on Iran
10 Mar 2026
FT published a piece again mislabelling the war on Iran. My comment was not published but sent to a moderator:
"FT continues to frame the war as the "Iran war" or "Middle East conflict" and other misnomers.
These misnomers a) camouflage the US and the Israelis from being identified as the instigators and culprits of this war and b) they point the finger at Iran instead of at these warmongers. This is the "US-Israel war on Iran".
Westerners should be left in no doubt that, contrary to what the western media says, rising costs (mortgages, energy, fertiliser and the rest) are entirely because of:
a) the warmongering and contempt for human life and international law of Trump and Netanyahu, and
b) the weakness and complicity of spineless western leaders and the UN, that have emboldened these international terrorists (Trump and Netanyahu) to continue their war crimes with impunity."

Brazen misiniformation by omission from timesnownews.com
09 Mar 2026
I came across this article today and noticed its shameful title. I sent an email (see below) to the publisher but their stated contact email address failed, so I sent a complaint to the complaints email address. It is outrageous that this platform gives just 7 days from the publication date for complaints to be submitted, so anyone who sees it later cannot complain yet the misionformation will remain in the public domain for potentially centuries.
The article title said "The Strait Of Hormuz Is Shut Amid Israel-Iran 'War': What Happens Next?"

FT.com - framing that shields the US and perpetuates divisiveness
09 Mar 2026
FT.com published a piece that framed the narrative away from US behaviour and instead perpetuated geopolitical divisiveness. My comment was not publsihed but instead sent to moderators:
"This piece It is a clear example of how some of those who write for and control western media are divisive, adversarial, confrontational and hostile to the east.
These journos frame their article from the outset as a battle between Europe and Asia for a key resource, and repeat that framing later by writing "Europe and Asia fight for available cargoes".
They could have instead written "US exporters sell to the highest bidder as prices rise", or "US exporters show their priority is their bottom line". They could have said "Exporters divert cargoes as competition for gas rises" or "Exporters divert cargoes to boost profits as prices rise". That reframing would have focussed attention on the exporters and pointed the finger at them instead of an 'us versus them battle'.
The journos do not say US exporters are engaging in this practice nor do they state the country on the African continent also engaging in diverting cargoes. They do not identify the exporters or ownership the redirected vessels.
The piece is another example of framing that buries (not entirely in this case) controversial or negative US behaviour, and perpetuates geopolitical divisiveness.
It shows that much of the ills and conflicts of this world can be traced back to those who control the narrative."

FT.com - more misinformation from the FT
08 Mar 2026
FT.com published a piece on the war on Iran. My comment was sent to a moderator:
"More misinformation and propaganda by FT in support of the US-Israeli Axis of Evil
Why has "Netanyahu" been excluded from the title? This is his war as much as if not more than Trump's .
"Iran has expanded the conflict over the past week with attacks on neighbouring countries" No, Iran has not expanded the war. The neighbouring Gulf states are harbouring US military bases so these are legitimate targets because they could be used by the aggressor that started this wholly illegal and unjustified war on Iran.
"he [Trump] would now expand the focus of the US bombing campaign beyond military and nuclear targets,"
a) Again, FT excludes any mention of the focus of the Israelis. Why the silence, and why given the Israelis have already bombed an oil facility?
b) The US-Israeli Axis of Evil has already bombed non-military and non-nuclear targets, i.e., civilian infrastructure (including a school and murdering 160 children). These war crimes are a repeat of their war crimes committed in Gaza.
"...and then the gloves are off" A perfect confirmation that those who hold these beliefs value oil assets more highly than they value Iranians. Perhaps they have dehumanised Iranians (in the same way the Israelis have dehumanised Palestinians).
"“Israel cannot permit itself to think outside the American framework.” Really? Who is in the driving seat of this war on Iran? The Israelis have already bombed an oil facility, unleashing a climate disaster. Was that attack "outside the American framework"? Did Netanyahu seek authorisation from Trump? Is Trump Netanyahu's lackey? The signs point in that direction, but the FT is silent on that relationship.
“The goal is to allow regime change.” says an unnamed source. If true, then why is the Axis of Evil bombing civilian infrastructure and why did it murder 160 school children?"

Why Lebanese militants became involved in the war on Iran and more troublemaking by the Israelis
08 Mar 2026
A very insightful account of a video by Haiphong in which he interviewed Magnier.
Magbier provided reasons behind the Lebanese militant group (Hezbollah) becoming involved in the war on Iran. The Lebanese government said it will arrest the militants and the Lebanese army was preparing to attack the militants. The Lebanese government refused Iranian help to rebuild Lebanon and cut off air travel to Iran, i.e., the government was anti-Iran and pro-Israel.
The militants became involved in the war on Iran because a) the Israelis did not respect UNSC Resolution 1701; b) because the Israelis started to bomb Lebanon and violated Lebanese sovereignty 15000 times, murdering 500 Lebanese, c) because the atmosphere in Lebanon had become anti-Militant and pro-Israel, and d) because the Israelis were preparing to enter Lebanon. The US envoy Thomas Barak said UNSC Resolution 1701 was over, that Lebanon was a failed state and that the Israelis could enter Lebanon, and the Israelis did not recognise the border with Lebanon. Entering the war was therefore a timely opportunity for the militants to survive and to protect their people.
The militants said they'd stop fighting the Israelis if the Israelis: respected UNSC Resolution 1701, respected Lebanese sovereignty and allowed Lebanon to be rebuilt.
The video also talked about the possible attacks on desalination facilities in Gulf states. Such attacks on civilian infrastructure would be a war crime. Magnier highlights the attacks by the Israelis on Iran's civilian infrastructure (including police HQ, hospitals, schools) and therefore said the Israelis are committing war crimes, just as they committed war crimes in Gaza.
He said Netanyahu wants Gulf states to be destroyed as that would mean "the arab countries will crawl back to me for support" i.e., they would be weakened so he would become dominant in the region.
Magnier mentioned the US submarine that bombed an Iranian frigate while it was in international waters and was unarmed and returning from a military parade. That attack killed at least 60 men.
The war on Iran now means it costs $12m versus $0.25m to insuring a freight ship crossing the Hormuz.
Magnier concluded the war on Iran and all its consequences was to prevent Netanyahu from going to prison for his crimes. He repeated the point made by van Holen (US senator) who said Netanyahu had not found a US president stupid enough to make war on Iran but he found one after 40 years in Trump. He added Netanyahu is willing to destroy Iran.

FT.com - more bias and misinformation by the FT on the war on Iran
08 Mar 2026
Consistent with my belief that the FT is a propaganda machine for the US-Israeli Axis of Evil, it yet again showed footage of US or Israeli bombs taking out Iranian hardware or facilites - this time a clip called "US strikes Iranian missile launchers". It also had a subtitle "Middle East war". No footage of Iranian strikes on Israeli or US property. Again, one-sided portrayal to paint a false narrative to their voters and to the general public.
The story had the headline ""Most dangerous job on earth": the life of an Iranian ballistic missile crew" giving the impression the US and Israelis (or the UK) have the skills and the means for pinpoint exedcution and so for these crews it really must be that dangerous. I did not bother to read the piece.
Next to this piece was another article, called "Israel expands attacks to Iranian oil storage facilities" Again, all the focus was on showcasing a successful attack by the US-Israeli Axis of Evil.
I did read in full a FT.com piece called "Iran warns it will hit US bases across region hours after president’s apology" It did not allow any comments, a cunning ploy that ensures no challenge to its content. The title was unclear - 'president' it could have meant the US president or the Israeli president, but in fact it meant the Iranian president (IP).
It paints a false picture that the IP went back on his words ('TACO Trump' is well known for doing just that, and so the FT falsely maligned his character. Its subtitle said "Masoud Pezeshkian had said Tehran would stop attacks on Gulf neighbours".
Reading the article, it is clear that the FT has taken those words in isolation and has misled the reader by excluding the condition that was given regarding attacks. The article said "he warned that Arab states would be targeted if they allowed the US to use their territory or airspace to launch strikes against the republic." It is clear therefore that the IP did not unconditionally stop attacks but would attack if the condition for attack was met. The IP did not go back on his words, in the way the FT has depicted in its reporting. The comments by the Iranian military are consistent with the IP's. The article came across as misleading and derogatory.
The FT adds "the US and Israel killed Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other senior officials in strikes on the supreme leader’s compound in Tehran a week ago" It failed to add that civilians were murdered in that attack, including the 14-month old granddaughter and other civilian relatives of Khamenei.
The FT also said "[Iran attacked] across the Gulf in a bid to spread the conflict throughout the region and raise the stakes for the US." i.e., the FT did not mention that these Gulf states harboured US military bases that could attack Iran, and so these Gulf states were legitimate targets of Iran in retaliation to the illegal and wholly unjustified war on Iran by the US-Israeli Axis of Evil. Instead it framed the attacks as raising the stakes for the US and gave no justification for these attacks by Iran, even though there is one.
The FT did not mention that these Gulf states had been warned of retaliatory attacks. Middle East Eye.net said "Iran has repeatedly warned, in both public and private messages, that if attacked by the US, it will retaliate by launching strikes against Gulf states hosting US military bases."
It is not surprising with such biased reporting the FT did not allow comments to this article. It ensures the bias is not exposed and so not challenged and corrected by readers' comments.

Rubio's nonsense underlines the US regime's war on Iran is built on lies
07 Mar 2026
Watch this clip by David Pakman where pro-Israeli, Rubio, explains why the US struck Iran, even though it is clear there was NO imminent threat of attack on the US by Iran. Rubio's explanation is shocking for its nonsense and for its absence of rational thought. This article also discusses his statements
Note how he says the US struck pre-emptively NOT because it was under imminent threat from Iran, but because Israel was going to attack Iran and Iran would have - presumed Rubio - then attacked the US, so to avoid that assumed attack on the US, the US struck Iran first.
Rubio says the US "went proactively in a defensive way" - gibberish.

Israelis have been chomping at the bit for decades for their war on Iran, and now their lackey in the White House is doing their bidding
07 Mar 2026
Israelis have been waiting for this war (on Iran) for 47 years. Watch this clip of the Israeli saying so. There is no doubt the Israelis are driving this war and Trump, their lackey, is supplying the fire power and the political weight and the propaganda through his lies, because the Israelis are weak and need a big bully to do their dirty work.
"we've been waiting for 47 years and uh we came to a point with every every necessary mean should be taken in order to achieve our goal." said the Israeli. Note the Israeli said "we have been waiting for 47 years" and "achieve our goal". Netanyahu has said his 40-year plan has been realised (with the war on Iran).
The clip also talks of how the Israelis have influenced Trump by: surrounding him with pro-Israelis such as Hegseth and Rubio, giving him money via Adelson, and telling him fake stories that the Iranians were behind his attempted assassinations.

Misreporting and propaganda of the war on Iran by western mainstream media, and what the independent media says of the war
07 Mar 2026
It is clear the western mainstream media is misreporting the war on Iran. According to O'Brien at LBC, just 8% of the UK supports the US-Israeli Axis of Evil's war on Iran. One would think it is the other way round given the content of the mainstream media coverage of the war on Iran. Of course, there is a propaganda campaign - probablly largely funded by Israelis, that has captured politicians and the mainstream media do the bidding of the Israelis.
Independent media videos paint a very different picture of the war on Iran. They show that Iran is inflicting damage to the US-Israeli Axis of Evil and depleting the Axis's missiles. It was also apparent that the Israelis are not allowing any media coverage of the scale of destruction and damage inflicted on Israel by Iranian air strikes. There is a media blackout In Israel and censorship that enables the Israelis to cover up what is happening in Israel and to spread false information of what really is happening (link) and (link). It is the same approach they used in Gaza where the Israelis murdered hundreds of local Palestinian journalists so the world would not see what is happening on the ground.
I have formed a belief that the FT reporting shows running accounts (including videos) of attacks by the Israelis and the US, on Tehran for example. Very little if any, is being shown on the damage being inflicted by Iran on Israel or on US vessels or sites. I think that one-sided coverage is deliberate - to paint a positive image of success by the US-Israeli regimes in order to maintain the support of their followers. That imbalance in reporting is supported by reports I've seen (on or around 10 March), that say the Israelis are not allowing media coverage of damage to their properties and other infrastructure.
I believe the US and Israeli regimnes are releasing footage of their attacks on Iran and directing the media to publish it to paint the picture that the Axis of Evil is causing damage and so is winning this war. It is in short, propaganda and it is consistent with what O'Brien on LBC said about UK media's coverage. It also consistent with the media blackout and censorship operating in Israel (see above).
Chris Hedges interviewed Crooke who gave a very different account of the state of the Axis of Evil in this war and how Iran was faring much better than the western media and the Axis of Evil would admit (link)
O'Brien at LBC talks of the inconsistency of the UK media's reporting when only 8% (from a YouGov poll) of the UK support this war (link). He talks of 'manufacturing consent' and how politicians and the media influence the masses to think in a particular way.
This video by Haiphong has the title "Iran's Missiles DECIMATE Israel & Gulf, Trump STUNNED as Russia Enters | Stanislav Krapivnik"
Andre Martynov gave his views in this video on the ability of the Israelis and the US to fight a real war and to put troops on the ground. He dismissed these regimes as incompetent at real war. The Israelis are good at genocide and after more than 2 years were unable to win in a tiny strip of land called Gaza where the opposition have homemdade weapons and essentially are treated as inmates of an open air Israeli prison. That Israeli performance says a lot about the fighting skills of the Israelis so they have no chance when dealing with a real war with Iran on the ground. He refers to the US legacy media as sacks of "excrement". That is pretty much what he thinks of much of the US government and its military's competence and skill level in relation to a real war.

FT continues to mislabel the war on Iran
07 March 2026
FT.com published an article on the impact on energy prices. As so often, FT mislabelled the war on Iran. I pointed this out in my comment - which was immediately posted, but for how long?

March to, and rally outside of, US Embassy, London - 07 Mar
07 Mar 2026
I went to this march and rally today. I arrived at Vauxhall Tube, after the meeting time of 12pm, and made my way to Vauxhall Bridge. I was not sure where the marchers were at that time - perhaps they had already reached the Embassy or perhaps they were still at Millbank.
I could not see any Palestinian or Iranian flags or crowds when I looked around and towards Millbank in the distance (there was one person with a flag draped over his shoulders walking towards the Embassy that made me think I should head in that direction but some photographers were sitting on the bridge and perhaps waiting for the marchers, so I was unsure what direction to take.
I decided to walk over the bridge to Millbank and then saw several police officers on motorbikes pointing some people who appeared to be marchers to walk down Millbank. I also saw a person who was holding a large flag heading down Millbank. I therefore decided to also walk in that direction.
It was not long until I started to hear chants of marchers and was greeted by a sea of people coming down Millbank towards me. I was fortunate to find high vantage points to take photos of the many and varied placards held aloft by marchers as they streamed by.
There were supportive jews there (traditional jews, if that is the right description of them), as they often have been at Palestinian marches. There was a small group of Iranians calling for regime change and an Israeli flag was displayed among that bunch (no US flag) and they were shouting as the far greater group passed by within feet of them. One or more of the marchers were having an exchange of words with a person from the smaller group. Police were on the spot and could easily have intervened if needed. Fortunately, nothing untoward happened. I moved on to another spot and took more photos; I think around 200.
The marchers turned onto Vauxhall Bridge then right and down Nine Elms I guess and we ended up outside the Embassy. I stayed to listen to the speakers and took photos of placards. What is amazing to see with the placards is the creativity, thoughtfulness and insightful put into creating the message they convey. Some placards are creatively constructed in addition to the message on them. Some were simple, concise and direct in their message. Some referred to Palestine, some to Iran and Lebanon, some to the US and to imperialism, so there were a variety of themes.
Opposite the Embassy (adjacent to the river), a permanent base had been created with messages about Palestine. The first time I was at the Embassy, it was dark and I was unfamiliar with the area. Today, in daylight and as I walked with the marchers, I saw much more and was able to orient myself much better with the surroundings. It's possible that this is where the event was held that I travelled to but but did not realise this location - situated on the other side of the road from where I was.
I stayed and listened to speakers until the rally ended - around 4pm and the marchers dispersed. I was getting a headache because the chanting was so loud and persistent. I didn't chant with the crowd but I did clap at some of what the speakers said. It is disgusting that the UK is assisting the US-Israeli Axis of Evil in this wholly illegal and unjustified war ON Iran. As the truism says, truth is the first casualty of war. The aggressors are spreading lies and misinformation with shameless abandon.

Police turn up outside my house in numbers and vehicles - why?
07 Mar 2026
At around 7pm, a police van stopped one or two doors away from my house and at least a couple of saloon cars stopped outside my house and one or two doors in the other direction. Lights were blazing but no sirens. I think the van had the words: "territorial" on its side and "police".
Men got out of the van and at least one of the vehicles, and they were walking around. I was not sure whatthey were doing or what was going on. I became anxious that they were about to arreest me for what I had been posting on my website about Palestine and Iran, and on FT.com.
I couldn't see what they were doing. I thought perhaps they were installing some surveillance equipment to record me - perhaps on a telegraph post. I was concerned they take my laptop and all my personal data. I was not too concerned because they would need a warrant to enter my home - they might have had that in their pocket.
Today, I thought perhaps they were putting on a show outside my home of force to intimidate me. After about ten minutes, they got back into their cars and drove off and drove off and so did the van. There was no obvious reason why they turned up.
Images remain and sensitise one's mind to spotting the same image later. Today, as I was walking back home after the rally and march to the US Embassy, I noticed the same words on a police van (see image below) with the same words on its side.

FT.com censorship over the war on Iran
Update 07 Mar 2026
I checked in the evening today and saw six of my comments on this single article had been published. I was surprised they had been publshed because I had assumed none would be published. It was a pleasant surprise and embarrassing to see so many versions. I wish I had waited a day at least to see what happened before posting revised versions.Update. FT.com deserves credit for publishing the articles.

FT.com published a piece about higher mortgage rates because of the "war in the Middle East" as it put it. I commented on the article but it was not published but sent to a moderator. I then posted an edited version (v2) but that too was immediately sent to a moderator. I kept editing and re-posting but every version was immediately sent to a moderator. V1, v2, v3, v4 and v5 are provided below. v4 and v5 are not controversial at all so I am not sure why the FT withheld all of my posts - perhaps it has labelled me and that means all my posts are automatically sent to a moderator. That is not true as some do get published immediately. Perhaps multiple attempts at posting means they are all sent to moderation.

The headline is misleading because inflation and energy prices are not relevant nor as significant as swap rates to lenders' decision to raise their rates. I guess the editor thought swap rates are not as well known to readers as inflation and energy prices.

This war on Iran is another shameful example of western complicity and imperialism (Palestine being another) that has direct adverse consequences for ordinary citizens.
For many ordinary people in West Asia, the consequences of the crimes of the US-Israeli warmongers and their allies, will be far worse than paying more for energy or their home loans.“

FT.com - the UK and its media are captured by the US-Israeli Axis of Evil, and are spreading their false narratives
06 Mar 2026
FT.com published a piece today on the UK's support for the US in its war ON Iran. I posted a comment but it was instead sent to a moderator. It is shown below (italics).
"the UK government views the US strikes on Iranian missile sites as defensive, rather than offensive, in nature."
The US sent its warships into West Asia then launched attacks on Iran, and now the UK shamelessly calls US attacks "defensive" not offensive.
The west and the Israelis have spent decades spreading false narratives to justify their dirty deeds across the world. Labelling offence as defence is just one example of their twisting of the truth to serve their purposes.
Labelling this war as the "Iran war" is another twist of the truth. That false label has the duel effect of camouflaging the identity of the aggressors and instigators of this war - the US-Israeli Axis of Evil- and pointing the finger of blame at Iran.
Not allowing any comments or removing comments to FT articles ensures only one side is heard and without challenge.
Lammy's gaffes show he is completely out of his depth and an embarrassment.

US imperialists show they are brazen liars
05 Mar 2026
The first casualty of war is the truth. This Zeteo clip cites numerous examples of those lies and misinformation by the Russians when they waged war on Ukraine, and by the US when they waged war on Iran. Note the similarities. They are just a few of the reams of lies uttered by the US about its war on Iran. Hegseth is a brazen liar - he actually said the US did not start the war on Iran (link). He talks gibberish - in the same breath saying "this is not a regime change war", but then says "but the regime sure did change". This clip (at 07:40mins) exposes the ambiguity of whether the US is in a war or in "a conflict", and whether the US aim was Iran regime change or not "regime change".

FT.com - the west must accept refugees created by US-Israeli Axis of Evil's war on Iran
05 Mar 2026
FT.com published a piece on the danger of another wave of refugees from West Asia to the west because of the unjustified and illegal war on Iran by the US-Israeli Axis of Evil. My post was removed by FT. It is disappointing as it was a long post with a lot to say. I think it should have been published. I tried again and posted a shorter version, but that was also removed. I then posted a third version:

FT.com more biased reporting that camouflages the US-Israeli Axis of Evil in its war on Iran
05 Mar 2026
FT.com published a piece on the rise in interest rates triggered by the attacks on Iran on 28 Feb. The writer showed his bias by not mentioning the aggressors and instead talked of Middle East conflict, but the effect is the same as the FT's biased choice of words. My comment exposed that bias.

Israelis today are far more inhumane than the French slave traders of the 18th century
04 Mar 2026
I came across a video today of the people of Madagascar enslaved by the French in the 18th century. It is a shocking example of white supremacy and inhumanity, and of the dehumanisation of people into cargo to be traded or abandoned.
The French had enslaved many Madagascans and were shipping them off but enroute the ship was wrecked. On land, the French had priority and control of the limited fresh water, and their slefishness meant some of the Madagascans died from thirst. The French also took priority over boarding the boat that BOTH groups had built. ALL those left behind were Madagascans. The Frenchman promised to return for those left behind. He never did. He tried but the French refused to help. This is another harrowing real life example of white supremacy, dehumanisation, and inhumanity.
The same is happening today, only the scenery has changed and the groups involved. The enslaved today are the Palestinians; their oppressors and "white" supremacists are the Israelis, and the location is Palestine.
The situation is however worse because Israeli oppressors are not abandoning the Palestinians to fend for themsleves. That would offer Palestinians respite and relief; a chance to regain strength and to recover and rebuild. No, these depraved Israelis won't allow that - they restrict aid and food and water so the Palestinians will starve and die, or in desperation, flee their homeland - which is what the oppressors want as it clears the way for their "greater Israel" project. They continue to murder Palestinian civilians, including women and children, even though there is a (fake) ceasefire in place - a ceasefire they have breached over 1000 times.
The French eventually overcame their inhumanity and rescued those they had dehumanised and degraded and left behind, but by that time, years later, just seven women and a baby of the 60 originally abandoned, remained on the tiny island.
The video makes a very important point that underlines the ingrained and embedded racism of the whites and reveals their disregard for people who were different: no records remain; no history; of what became of these survivors. Perhaps the whites did not consider them human enough, not human at all, or not their equal, to warrant keeping a record of their lives in the same way they recorded and preserved their own.
Of course, not all whites were so depraved and inhumane. There were French people who were slavery abolitionists. The Frenchman who promised to save those HE left behind did try to rescue those left behind. Perhaps through his efforts, the depravity and inhumanity of the French in general did change and perhaps his efforts made a difference to the lives of those he had abandoned years earlier on the island.

Vanessa Beely exposes the hidden network that coordinates what is reported and how, by mainstream western media
04 Mar 2026
Flintoff's video today was an interview of Vanessa Beely. She gave a hard-hitting and insightful explanation that was a revelation to me, because she spoke of the relationship between the media and intelligence organisations and how they determine what is reported and how it is framed.
She says this network publishes lies, "propaganda", asap (before genuine and independent news groups can fact-check and then publish the truth). "The propaganda is off the track and running before people can verify what is going on, and that [delay in reporting the truth] of course is the problem."
She adds: "British and US media are aligned with British and US intelligence agencies and with regimes, to effectively dissseminate those lies as quickly as possible to manufacture consent for whatever project or strategy the west has in mind for a particular country [and she mentioned many countries across West Asia]." She cited the classic example of the war on Iraq, where the truth came later and after millions of Iraqis had been either starved by sanctions, or murdered. She later added the west's strategy is to secure and expand Israel so it serves as the west's military outpost in the region.
I have been very critical of the FT in its bias and misinformation, but now I see that their framing could be driven or influenced by intelligence organisations. It is likely that the intelligence organisations coordinate with the government, so there is a network. That network will include pro-Israeli politicians and journalists, but many probably operate in the shadows - as fixers, enablers, and go-betweeners who arrange meetings and make introductions and connections.
Flintoff mentioned the BBC did not report on the US-Israeli attack that murdered over 140 children, because it had not been verified. I accept that it is essential to fact-check, however, that requirement can be abused by using it as a pretext to not report on an event that is of grave importance but which will be politically damaging to a government. So much for independent reporting. I searched online and found multiple reports by the BBC on that attack, so perhaps Flintoff's criticism is that the BBC was relatively slow to report on the attack, perhaps hoping the crimes of the US-Israeli Axis of Evil would be buried under more recent news and events.
The BBC has come under heavy criticism over its biased reporting of the genocide of Palestinians - favouring the Israelis, so it would not be surprising if it is playing the same game in this war.
Flintoff raised the concern that the Isralelis might resort to using nukes, given that "they get away with genocide; they get away with anything...they could probably think in their minds they could get away with nuclear".
Beely mentioned the so-called Samson option whereby they could launch nukes to an exstential threat to its existence, saying it reserves the right to go nuclear. She also mentioned the Israelis have for a very long time, been using chemical warfare - the poisoning of wells and using white phosphorous in Palestine, and spraying glyphosate in Lebanon.
Beely also made the very insightful observation that refugees are being sent back by western countries because Azad of Syria is no longer in power, i.e., while he was, it served western propaganda and strategy to accept refugees but now he has gone, those refugees are not serving the west's agenda and propaganda so, without any concern for their welfare and of humanity, the west is turning its back on these refugees "they [the west] weaponised [when Azad was in power]". "they [the west] don't want them [refugees] anymore. They don't need them anymore."

Motion A105 - silence. So long Green Party
04 Mar 2026
I became a member of the Green Party on 28 Feb to lend my support to help the progress of Motion A105. I came across this recently via the Crispin Flintoff video (see 24 Feb post below).
I subsequently learned that I could not give that support (the so-called Prioritisation process had ended on 20 Feb according to the Party's website document on prioritising its Motions).
In addition, I had not received a response to my offer of help with that Motion, nor a response to the email I sent to the policy people at the Party asking if there was any way I could push the Motion A105 as intended. They have not responded.
I sincerley tried but was met with silence. I was keen to help with this Motion partly because it inluded reference to the disgraceful IHRA definition of antisemitism.
Today, I called the Party but no answer and not even a chance to leave a message - voicemail is full. I therefore sent them an email asking for my money back and to cancel my membership.

Ealing Council councillors show their inhumanity
03 Mar 2026
Disgusting Ealing council councillors have betrayed Palestinians and the thousands of Ealing residents who signed the petition calling on them to divest council pension funds from companies that enable the genocide of Palestinians by Israelis. I know first-hand how that betrayal feels: the three councillors who represent my ward Gary Busuttil, Gary malcolm, Andrew steed, did not even have the professional courtesy to respond to my emails urging them to sign the divestment letter.
This evening, a protest rally was held outside the council.

Update on the war ON Iran, by the US-Israeli Axis of Evil
02 Mar 2026
Crooke said in his interview with Napolitano that Rubio's comments that Iran was preparing ICBMs to attack the US as justification for the US's pre-emptive attack on Iran: "that's just nonsense...it's actually just really childish...it [Iran] is not a threat to the United States".
He discusses the motivation to attack Iran. He agrees with Napolitano: it is the US's desire to retain dollar hegemony, which enables the US to service its massive government debt, and provide the military power to continue to oppress and attack countries.
Crooke laments the assassination of the supreme leader, an act that has inflamed the Iranians and their desire for revenge. Crooke says the leader chose not to take shelter but he chose to be a martyr for his people as that is how be could best serve them - through martyrdom. His granddaughter, son and daughter in law were also murdered in the attack.
Crooke lists three gaffs by the Israelis:
a) their incitement of an uprising that failed to bring down the regime; b) their bombing of nuclear bases in Iran that failed to bring down the regime; c) the assassination and strikes on Iran currently underway, that has enraged and inflamed Iranians, and contrary to bringing down the Iranian regime, the assassination has probably energised it and Iranians to fight back and seek revenge with greater zeal.
Crooke said with confidence this latest attack by the Axis of Evil (US-Israelis) was set back in December 2025 and agreed with Napolitano that the recent 'negotiations' by the US were a ruse to try and catch the Iranians off guard and to lull them into a false sense of security ahead of a body blow. "All of that was deceit". Crooke however said the Iranians were prepared for an attack and were not duped by the AOE.
Marandi said the Iranians knew the Axis of Evil were preparing for war when Trump, Witkoff, and Vance began to spread lies about Iran developing nuclear weapons, saying Iran is able to prepare nukes quickly, that Iran was an imminent threat, and whipping up alarm and the threat of an imminent attack.
The fake news and lies from the Axis of Evil were all to justify a pre-emptive strike, as allowed under UN rules of war. That justification, however, was based on fake news and misinformation.
Trump the hypocrit moans and criticises those who spread fake news aimed at him, but he spreads it himself when it suits his agenda.
Marandi said on the Katie Halper video that Iranians realised months ago, after the June bombings, that a repeat attack would occur as it is in the nature of the Axis of Evil to return, and so they did. Iran retailaited within an hour of the Axis of Evil attacking.
This Novara Media interviewee said the Iranians had conceded on uranian enrichment and so Trump had a significant win (greater than achieved by Obama) yet he still went ahead and waged war on Iran. No one can pinpoint why this terrorist has waged war - other than he is being egged on by the nurderous Israelis, as usual. She also confirms Trump's lie about not being a warmonger and his lie to America First voters. She also say the US attack was illegal under US law and also under International law. She alludes to the slippery and sleazy justification used by Starmer for supporting the Axis of Evil in their attacks on Iran. She urges the world to oppose the lawless acts of Trump and is disappointed that the Europeans who speak of upholding, and the importance of, international laws, are not speaking out.
The Europeans and the UK are actually spineless cowards unwilling to stand up to Trump's lawlessness and that timidity will embolden him to continue to spread his terrorism. His claim of success in taking out Maduro and his gloating about it, plus the lack of international condemnation of that act, has emboldened him to attack again, this time Iran, in the hope it would also result in a quick regime change and a quick end to his war on Iran. He has made a massive error of judgement.
On the same video, disgustig Starmer and Cooper condemned Iran yet they did not condemn the Axis of Evil for their wholly unjustified attack on Iran - the double standards are disgusting. NM also showed the vile hypocrisy of Carney in defending the Axis of Evil. NM then showed Hegseth lying about the attack on Iran. It also shows Netanyahu saying what he has wanted to do for 40 years (attack Iran). The video also showed clips of the vile and warped comments and thinking including the disgusting Patel and Farage.

02 Mar 2026
FT.com published an article that understated and failed to give adequate weight to the imperialists' crimes against Iran. I objected in my comment. The original version was soon removed and when I noticed, I tried a slightly less angry version. It might also be removed. Take 2 was removed by the censorious FT.

Double Down News reveals the truth about the warmongering US and Israelis liars attacking Iran
01 Mar 2026
I have not been following the events in Iran but took a look today. I did not want to read the FT because it would be reporting through the lens of the US and Israel warmongers and it is a PR and propaganda machine for both. The only value in reading it is to collate evidence of its bias. Instead, I took a look at Double Down (DD) News, and a video presented by Lowkey
Lowkey gave a summary of the hand of the Israelis in this attack on Iran. The warmongering Israelis are a menace to decent society and have been causing trouble in the region for decades. One wanders what these Israelis have on Trump to make him act as their poodle.
Another DD video showed footage of Trump and Hegseth campaigning to win the election on the basis that they were against wars, yet as Lowkey shows, these rabid warmongers quickly changed course after they came to power - as illustrated with their attacks on Nigeria, Venezuela, Iran, and Cuba. Watch the video to be shocked at the vitriol now spewed by Hegseth.
It is common to now refer to these depraved warmongers as the "Epstein class".
Lowkey talks of the spread of the Epstein class's war to neighbouring contries - to destroy US bases placed in these allies of the imperialists. He mentioned the economic impact that will be felt as supply chains are disrupted.
A shocking figure he revealed was the 38 million people killed by US and EU sanctions since 1970. That is the passive but lethal kind of warfare that these warmongers inflict that is not mentioned in western media or history books.
He exposed the US ideology (which is actually the Israeli ideology) that deems it acceptable for the Israelis to take the entire region of West Asia (aka the Middle East). There is no stopping the ambitions of these imperialists - headed by the Israelis, in taking West Asia for themselves. They have started to divide Syria so it is too small and weak to retaliate (the divide and conquer strategy). Turkey could be next in their firing line, and it knows and is taking steps.
Once again, DD says the mainstream media cannot be relied upon for true independent and unbiased reporting.
This DD video also by Lowkey describes Iran's support for the Palestinians and the history behind the US's overthrowing of the democratically-elected leader of Iran who was removed by the US because he wanted to nationalise Iran's oil for his people - something the westerners would not tolerate. Think of that - a US regime that goes to great pains to support democracy OVERTHROWS a democratically-elected leader of Iran. The hypocrisy of the US is nauseating. It tried to do the same in Venezuela when it was led by Chavez.
If it was not obvious before, it is now: the US and its allies are liars who use democracy and liberalism as cover for imperialism and war. The Israelis hide behind the military and financial might of the US but they are pulling the strings of their puppet, Trump and using their accumulated wealth and connections to buy power and influence of politicians and the media.
This DD video exposes the shocking and blatant lies of these imperialists over the decades and it is the same liars justifying their murderous campaigns.
It is truly shocking and depressing to see these scum - Trump, Netanyahu, Hegseth, Bolton and many more spew their brazen lies while bombing and murdering innocent civilians thousands of miles away. The western media gives these scum a platform to spread false propaganda to the masses in the west but they are feeding them lies.
Just as they lied about the weapons of mass destruction that led to these warmongers murdering 1 million Iraqis, these same warmongers are now lying again and talking of pre-emptive strikes on Iran - a lie to justify their murderous campaign of land and resource grabbing in West Asia. They reveal their hypocrisy by denying nukes to Iran (as if they have any right to stop them) while harbouring their own nukes ready and able to strike Iran and other countries across the world. Listen to the DD video above in which the Israeli talks of sending a nuke to a remote area in Iran to demonstrate these murderers' capability and intent, and then warning the Iranians that their next nuke will hit Tehran.

Warmongering Americans and Israelis bomb Iran
28 Feb 2026
Warmongering Americans and Israelis bombed and murdered innocent Iranians today. A rally was held at Parliament Sq London this afternoon to protest. Many people from diverse backgrounds joined in condemning these murderous regimes. It was a great atmosphere, completely peaceful, no pro-Israelis in sight to cause trouble and mischief.
The police were conspicuous and present in large numbers, but they appeared relaxed and did not appear to me to be harrassing or intimidating anyone. This is how freedom of speech and protest should be conducted - civilised and peaceful. Compare that to the behaviour of the murderous ICE and CBP thugs in America and the IDF in Palestine.
Though I am not sure, it would not surprise me to learn that the UK government has played its part in aiding and abbetting these regimes in their war on Iran.
A couple of the images on the bottom row are of a group I saw on the other end of Trafalgar Sq. I realised they were not the group I was searching for. These people want regime change in Iran, so I suspect they welcome the efforts of the US and Israelis to achieve that end, but I am not sure how these people feel about fellow Iranians being murdered in attacks by the US and Israelis. There were some people calling for a ban on executions of Iranians and they displaying images of people.
I suspect those images were of detained anti-government protestors who had been arrested and sentenced to death, and some that had been executed.
I strongly support calls for democracy in Iran and the right of freedom of speech and of peaceful protest in Iran. I strongly oppose execution of people who call for regime change and who peacefully defend their right of free speech. The US and Israeli regimes have played a hand in enciting such protests and calling for regime change in Iran.
Here is a video by Flintoff that covered the event in Parliament Sq. Several popular figures were present and gave their views.

FT.com's shameful and biased reporting about Palestine
27 Feb 2026
FT.com published an article of a poll showing MORE Americans "sympathise" with Palestinians than with Israelis. Comments were not allowed on the article. I sent an email to the FT with my comments about not allowing comments and about the content of the article:
Re: Comment not allowed - Americans now sympathise with Palestinians more than Israelis, poll finds
https://www.ft.com/content/25e26e93-e18a-490f-92cf-1f696f7d0a66
It is utterly disgusting of the FT to not allow comments on this article. It shows the FT to be pro-Israeli and anti-Palestinian in its reporting.
The widespread references in this article to "antisemitism" falsely and maliciously equate (conflate) the reasonale and justified condemnation of Israelis who either support or who commit genocide, ethnic cleansing and apartheid of Palestinians. Such condemnation is NOT antsemitism.
It is also worth noting that there is not a single reference or quote in this article from a pro-Palestinian voice nor any counter by the FT, or anyone else, to the false conflation of antisemitism with criticism of the genocidal Israelis.
The FT should be ashamed for
a) not allowing readers to counter such false conflation;
b) not presenting a balanced view on this poll. There are TWO groups in this poll (Israelis and Palestinians) yet the FT has interviewed, quoted, and presented ONLY the Israeli perspective.
"Israel’s two-year war against Hamas in Gaza" What disgusting misinformation. For TWO YEARS the Israelis have committed genocide and ethnic cleansing and Israelis have been has been starving to death Palestinians and denying them medical aid, yet knowing all this the FT says nothing about it. The FT says the Israelis are at war with Hamas, when it is obvious the Israelis are at war with Palestinian civilians including women and children. That deliberate ommission is an utterly disgusting example of biased pro-Israeli reporting by the FT.
"Palestinian efforts to recover ...have stalled amid an Israeli blockade". It is a plus mark for the FT to have even mentioned the Israeli blockade, but so much more could have been said to underline the inhumanity of that blocakde, such as the 37 humanitarian organisations prevented by the Israelis from entering Gaza or the West Bank.
"intermittent fighting since a US-brokered ceasefire in October." How disgusting that the FT fails to mention the 618 Palestinians (the vast majority civilians) murdered by the Israelis since the fake ceasefire, or that the Israelis have violated the ceasefire over 1600 times. (https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2025/11/11/how-many-times-has-israel-violated-the-gaza-ceasefire-here-are-the-numbers).
It is thanks to independent media and the courageous Palestinian journalists, not to pro-Israeli western media such as the FT, that the depravity and inhumanity of Israelis is being seen, read , and archived for the world.

FT.com - poor reporting by FT on the UK government's efforts to remove trial by jury
26 Feb 2026
FT.com published a piece on the government's plan to remove trial by jury in the UK (at least partly). I referred to the danger of this and mentioned Palestine Action trials (PA) and the PA judicial review. My comment was published, but for how long? I then sent an email to Defend our Juries (see below) and requested replies to my emails to Tim Crosland.

UK government turns a blind eye to UK citizens who fought in genocidal Israeli armed forces and who must be investigated for possible war crimes
25 Feb 2026
Declassified posted a video of research that identified 2000 British citizens who enlisted to fight in the Israeli military and therefore liable to prosecution for participating in war crimes (genocide and ethnic cleansing and murder of Palestinian civilians). The video noted however that securing a prosecution in the UK could be very hard because of the very limited laws on fighting for a foreign state, such as the genocidal Israeli regime's IDF.
The video also exposed yet another illustration of British double-standards: on the one hand there has been intense investigation and pursuit by UK authorities, such as the police and secret service, of British citizens who fought for groups or armies overseas that were not allies of the British government, and on the other hand, there has been no equivalent investigation or pursuit of those who fought for foreign states that are considered allies of the British. Shockingly, Israel is considered an ally of the UK even though it is committing genocide and ethnic cleansing of Palestine.
The video also exposed the lack of records kept by the UK government of its citizens serving in the IDF even though these people could be guilty of war crimes. Nor is there any concern by UK authorities that these criminals might be working in the NHS or with other vulnerable people. It is possible, for example, these people murdered Palestinians who desperately tried to get food from designated aid points.
It is ironic the source of the data was the IDF, but it did not disclose names. In total, 50,000 foreigners enlisted in the Israeli military, from countries including Ukraine, Russia, the USA, and 2000 from the UK.

Green Party motion to formally designate zionism as racism
24 Feb 2026
I watched a video by Flintoff where he interviewed Lubna Speitan and Haim Bresheeth. The subject was a motion (A105) for the Green Party to vote that zionism is racist. Speitan has produced a detailed document on the motion that apparently is available via the Green Party. Bresheeth is a strong supporter of the motion and was very critical of the British for their historical role in the creaton of an Israeli state in Palestine that has led to decades of oppression of Palestinians, ethnic cleansing of Palestine and an apartheid Israeli state.
More information can be found here about Motion 105. Time is of the essence to vote for the motion so it is passed at the Green Party's conference in March. I thought of joining the party to make up the numbers to get the motion passed.

FT.com: UK government suppresses publication of a report on UK court system and trial by jury
24 Feb 2026
FT.com published a piece on the UK government suppressing publication of a review of the UK legal system and in particular the use of juries. Defend our Juries has been campaigning for juries to be used in trials but the government is against this. I sent an email for Tim Crosland at DoJ. In keeping with many people or organisations I write to about Palestine, I don't suppose I will get a reply.
The danger, as I see it, is government-appointed judges will sentence people unjustly to serve the government's interests and not to serve justice for those on trial.
This was evident in the jury trial of several Palestine Action defendants - charges were dismissed - a massive victory for them and a massive defeat for the government and the pro-Israel lobby and the company that manufactures weapons on UK soil for the Israeli regime, Elbit Systems.

UK mainstream media look the other way on Mandelson to retain access to his contacts
23 Feb 2026
An explosive Double Down News video in which Lowkey blows the lid off the mainstream media's cosy and shameful relationship with disgraced "Lord" Peter Mandelson - soon likely to be plain Peter Mandelson, again.
"Shameful" because they knew about him yet turned a blind eye. They are also cowards because all are now hurriedly expressing publicly their naivety that they became so cosy with Mandelson and expressing no knowledge of his true character. They are also hypocrits because they now express horror at his behaviour when they knew of it but remained silent because he served their interests in generating news stories and therefore money, for them.
The mainstream media is a swamp infested with vile shameless and immoral creatures.
This Novara Media video on 10 Feb 2026 reveals why the media did NOT confront Mandelson. Because the media wanted continued access for future news articles. Presenter ("Helena") explains the concept of "mutual destruction" that exists between politics and the media - destroy Mandelson and you also destroy yourself. "It's all a system of mutually assured destruction based upon mutual links with each other" To ensure access, the politician's low-life's past is kept under wraps by the media to preserve the access to his contacts and his stories. That relationship remains until he is of no use to the journos and /or UNTIL he self-destructs as Mandelson has, at which point the media rushes out lies and excuses to deflect criticism for not exposing his past sooner.

Palestinian event at US Embassy
23 Feb 2026
I decided to go to the event mentioned by Obscenity State (OS) on the Flintoff video today (see post below). I did not know how to get there but after a search I got to Vauxhall then caught a bus and got off at the Embassy. It was dark and raining and the area was littered with makeshift barriers because of roadworks all around.
I had no idea where to go; could not see any signposts. I saw an area called "Embassy" so headed in that direction then walked around but no obvious sign of the Embassy or the Palestinian event at 6:30pm. I walked around then by chance I saw some flags and a vehicle covered with images of people and what I thought was an Iranian flag.
I thought it might be the Palestinian event's site. No one was in the van. I also saw a USA flag and some other flags all together. I was confused and unsure what it all meant but it slowly dawned on me that this site was a call to the US for help for the people of Iran. I was very definitely in the wrong place. I took some photos and headed back to Vauxhall underground. It was a wasted journey and a few hours. I later sent an email to OS asking if the event tooik place. No reply so far.

Flintoff on the threat of war by the US against Iran
23 Feb 2026
Crispin Flintoff published a video today of interviews of activist called "Obscenity State" (OS) and Jedaal TV presenter, Ali Alizedeh. The views highlighted the drive by the Israelis to push Trump into a war between the US and Iran as that plays to the aims of the Israelis. It also highlighted the appalling misinformation and encouragement of the western mainstream media to an uprising in Iran and the media's exagerration (by a factor of 10x) of the number who died in the recent protests in Iran.
OS described the moral decay within Amnesty International and other NGOs. She also tried to account for the relative silence over the Iran-US crisis, i.e., where are the street marches and media and politicians such as Corbyn and PSC on Iran?
She mentioned an event today at the US Embassy at 6.30pm that I might attend.

Local councillors have not signed divestment letter, but 1000+ have signed
24 Feb 2026
PSC noted in an email sent to me on 23 Feb:
"...more than 1,000 councillors have made our Councillor Pledge for Palestine! The councillors come from across Britain and a wide range of political parties, including roughly 350 from each of Labour and the Greens, more than 100 Liberal Democrats, and hundreds more from the SNP, Plaid Cymru, Your Party, the Conservatives, and independents.
The pledge commits councillors to take steps to:
Our research has found that local council administered pension funds invest more than £12 billion in companies enabling Israel's crimes, including hundreds of millions of pounds invested in the arms companies manufacturing the bombs and bullets used to murder Palestinians.
Sky News reported on the announcement of the councillors who have made the pledge. You can read that here.
If your councillors haven't already made the pledge, will you write to them to let them know this matters to you?
Today, I checked an online list of the 1000+ councillors who had signed the divestment letter. None of the three who represent my ward were on that list. I emailed PSC on 24 Feb to check at their end whether these three had signed and then to tell me.
Today, I also sent these three another email (see below) urging them to respond as time was running out.

- Uphold the rights of the Palestinian people
- Stand up to Israel for its crimes of genocide and apartheid
- Ensure their councils are not complicit, including through divestment of pension funds from complicit companies.

Petition calling on Ealing Council to divest from companies supporting Israelis' genocide, reaches 5K signatures and is delivered to the council
23 Feb 2026
PSC has campaigned to stop Ealing Council investing in companies that support the Israeli genocide, apartheid and ethnic cleansing of Palestine. It sent me an update on that campaign, today (see image below). It also requested that I sign letters to local councillors and to the Pension Committee to divest from such companies.
The letter to the Pensions Committee is reproduced below. The letter to the local councillors can be seen in an earlier post. I had sent that letter by email direct to my local councillors (Gary Busuttil of the Liberal Democrat; Gary Malcolm of the Liberal Democrat; Andrew Steed of the Liberal Democrat). It is regrettable none of these three local councillors have not replied to my email to them urging them to vote to divest. Today, I signed and submitted the letter again to these three.
Pension Committee letter:
"To: Ilayda Nijhar, Lauren Wall, Ian Kingston, Ray Wall, Dee Martin, Anthony Young, Yvonne Johnson
re: Divest Ealing Pension Fund from human rights abuses
In the run up to the next Ealing Pension Fund Panel meeting, I am contacting you as a local resident to urge you to take steps to ensure that Ealing Pension Fund is not invested in companies that facilitate and enable Israel's grave breaches of international law. As our local council, your actions should reflect the values of the community they serve, including on human rights and Palestine-related issues. Public opinion is increasingly in support of Palestinian rights and local governments should reflect this in their policies, especially with regards to how the pension fund is spent and invested.
Israel’s ongoing assault on Palestinians in the Gaza Strip has killed tens of thousands of Palestinians - almost half of them children. Over 70% of buildings and infrastructure has been destroyed, while more than 90% of Palestinians in Gaza have been displaced, many of whom multiple times. Palestinians in Gaza are facing imminent famine due to Israel's blockade and its targeting of life-sustaining infrastructure. In July 2024, UN experts reported that “Israel’s intentional and targeted starvation campaign against the Palestinian people is a form of genocidal violence and has resulted in famine across all of Gaza.”
In January 2024, the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the world court, handed down an interim ruling affirming there is plausible evidence Israel is committing genocidal acts against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. Israel has refused to adhere to the binding provisional measures ordered by the court. As a State Party to the Genocide Convention, the UK has a binding obligation to employ all means reasonably available to prevent and deter further genocidal acts.
LGPS funds must immediately divest from companies that are complicit in violations of human rights and international law. This includes arms companies supplying weapons and military technology used by Israel in its relentless attacks on Palestinians. You can find a list of companies supplying Israel with weapons and components produced by the American Friends Service Committee here.
Human rights organisations, including the UN Human Rights Council, have demanded that all states end arms transfers to Israel. In addition, UN experts have warned that investors that fail to end financial ties to arms companies supplying Israel “could move from being directly linked to human rights abuses to contributing to them, with repercussions for complicity in potential atrocity crimes”.
Despite this, research by Palestine Solidarity Campaign has found that most LGPS funds hold shares in companies complicit in Israel's violations of international law, including companies supplying Israel with weapons and military technology used in its devastating attacks on Palestinians. The research has found that Ealing Pension Fund has investments in complicit companies of £112,896,000.
PSC's research has also identified that LGPS funds hold investments in companies providing technology and equipment used to maintain Israel’s illegal military occupation, such as its checkpoints and the apartheid wall, and companies conducting business activity in Israel’s illegal settlements, based on stolen Palestinian land.
I urge you to take immediate measures to divest the pension fund from companies complicit in Israel’s grave violations of Palestinian rights.
I look forward to hearing from you about actions you have taken."

FT.com controls the narrative on Iran
22 Feb 2026
I decided to check whether the FT had reported on the Israelis' hand in the Iran protests. First, I searched fro any reports of Mossad's involvement in Iran.
According to this report "Israel’s Mossad tells Iranian protesters ‘We are with you’" including on the ground in Iran. Pompeo said "“Happy New Year to every Iranian in the streets. Also to every Mossad agent walking beside them."
I then searched the FT for its reporting on Mossad's involvement. I found nothing on that except it did mention an Iraninan who claimed the "failed coup" had been: "orchestrated by the CIA and Mossad"
I checked eight articles the FT had displayed on this subject to see which allowed comments and which did not: 4 Feb article; 21 Feb; 21 Feb; 19 Feb (allowed); 19 Feb; 19 Feb (allowed); 19 Feb (allowed); 19 Feb (allowed); 17 Feb (allowed). 5 of 9 allowed comments. That is not a high percentage and does suggest the FT is controlling freedom of speech and controlling the narrative, on a significant minority (44%) of its articles.
That 44% only relates to the articles the FT does publish - consider the articles it blocks from publication let alone blocking comments on them. It should also be remembered that the FT has a further filter: removing published comments - as it did to mine on this subject. a further filter is the framing of articles to highlight one perspective and conceal another.

Greece's hypocrisy and double-standards - it will deal with the US imperialists but not with Russia, but it actually does by shipping Russian oil
24 Feb 2026
My earlier comment about the hypocrisy and double-standards of the Greeks (see 22 Feb post below) was subsequently removed, so I posted another today on the same article. Perhaps that too will be removed.

FT.com: the hypocrisy of the Greeks and the silence of the FT on illegal shipping of Russian oil
22 Feb 2026
FT.com published a piece on Greece opportunistically seeking trade with US over LNG, but it exposes its hypocrisy. My comment was immediately published, but for how long? (I should have written "they make money..." instead of "the make money..."
I then added a second comment - to make the additional point of suspicions the Greeks have engaged in illegal shipping of Russian oil, that the FT did not mention.

Iranian scholar discusses the threat of war on Iran by the warmongering US and Israelis, and its consequences for the world
21 Feb 2026
I came across this in-depth interview by Glenn Diesen of an Iranian scholar (Seyed M Marandi) on the consequences of a war by the western imperialists led by the US, the Israelis, and its allies. He lays the blame for that war on these western warmongers and not on Iran, and he notes that Iran is negotiating to avert war - so the western media cannot say Iran is to blame for the war because it refused to negotiate to avoid war.
He exposes the western media for its propaganda and its support for western imperialists and the Israelis, and the western media's false (exaggerrated) numbers of deaths during the Iran protests. The interview also exposed Israelis' involvement in these protests in Iran, to which the Israelis admit.
The interviewer also exposed western media for attacking independent western media outlets (his own) that interview Iranian people, i.e., the western media is trying to control the narrative and is resorting to smearing independent western media that communicates with Iranians and reports their perspective.
Marandi talked of the collapse (in the aftermath of war) of western economies because the oil supply will be shut off and western businesses will collapse. He predicts Trump will suffer as a consequence of economic collapse across the west caused by the west's warmongering.
He notes the US will not have soldiers on the ground and the US is at a disadvantage because the US cannot afford the massive daily cost of waging war so it has to move quickly whereas Iran can afford to wait because the war will be on its turf. (An analogy is the battle of Agincourt that the French would (I think) have won had they played the waiting game against the English invaders).
Marandi said the western media is not reporting the US's inhumanity over Cuba (see this link). The interviewer noted the hypocrisy of western imperialists who use humanitarianism to "legitimise" their actions (use it as justification for waging wars and regime change), yet its own media does not report (is not allowed to report) on the humanitarian suffering western imperialsists are inflicting on Cuba.

I was compiling a list of Trump's black marks. The list is evolving:
Imperialism, inhumanity, white suppremacy; racism; autocracy, disregard for international law and the US constitution, denial of climate change, brazen personal profiteering; and dismantling of financial oversight, US scientific research, and USAID.

Cutting ties with Amazon - a company complicit in genocide by the Israelis
19 Feb 2026
I used Amazon to sell books online and to buy personal items. Given the complicity of Amazon in the genocide, apartheid, and ethnic cleansing of Palestine, I have resolved to cut my ties completely with Amazon. I already had withdrawn to a large degree and a long time ago because I found it a very frustrating business to deal with - I no longer buy from it and I no longer sell my books or other other books, on its platform.
In support of BDS Israel (see here for info), I want to erase all content on Amazon about me and about my books shown on it. My books can no longer be bought on Amazon but information about me and about them remains publicly visible. I don't want to be associated with a business that is complicit.
This month, I set in motion steps to have that information deleted. As usual when dealing with Amazon staff, progress is awkward and getting to the relevant person is not straight forward. The first person misunderstood my enquiry. The second referred my enquiry to another department. They replied saying the page with information about my books will NOT be removed. I replied saying I did not ask for the page to be removed, just information on it. I managed to delete some information from that page myself but it still appears when I search online. I am hoping after a few days my deletions will be updated across all Amazon systems and then that deleted information will disappear everywhere and permanently. I then have the task of demanding that images and data about my books are also deleted.

Disgusting Israeli settlers with the complicity of Israeli law enforcers, attack peaceful Palestinians and destroy their homes - help Palestinian journalists record the crimes
19 Feb 2026
I came across this video by Flintoff in which he interviewed a courageous and defiant young Palestinian. Mohammad Huraini. He's pictured below dealing with I think an Israeli enforcer.
Huraini talked of the daily intimidation, physical attacks, arson, theft, and checks by the IDF and by Israeli illegal settlers who perpetrate these crimes. He mentioned the surveillance of their 'phones for pictures of resistance by the outside world to the Israelis' genocide, i.e., the Israelis actively prevent any disclosure of the crimes they are committing in the West Bank or any information of the support being given to them by the outside world. That is why the Israedlis have murdered hundreds of Palestinian journalists in Gaza.
The video includes several of these scum beating a person as he/she lay on the ground screaming and helpless. It also showed a fire these settlers had started and the sheep they had stolen. He said the Israeli forces enable and watch as these Israelis commit their crimes i.e., the are complicit in the criminal and violent acts of these settlers.
Huraini spoke of lost Palestinian childhoods because of the constant threat of violence and property theft, and the oppression has continued for decades and stories have been passed down from generation to generation of Palestinians.
He hopes one day that life will be peaceful the beauty of his land and his people will shine and was reassured that there are outsiders such as Flintoff who are concerned about the plight of Palestinians.
Flintoff left a donation link for Hurain - to which I contributed. His video is called:"One day we’ll film the beauty of our land' - brave West Bank journalist speaks out"
The platform was PayPal which I found alarming. A search online showed PayPal has engaged in appalling behaviour towards Palestinians "PayPal blocks transactions and deplatforms Palestinians and supporters simply trying to aid humanitarian relief efforts." said this report in June 2025. The report also said "[shareholders] have sent a letter to PayPal executives urging them open up services to Palestine," and they staged a demonstration.
I guess (hope) PayPal has changed its inhumane ways because my donation to Huraini was allowed to pass through. I would have liked to have boycotted PayPal but on the other hand, the payment was for a good cause and so I went along and paid via PayPal (there was no alternative). The donation was via Chuffed.org. Here is what the Chuffed page said about Huraini's work and his objective:
Mohammad Huraini is facing brutal oppression every single day in his community.
Since the outbreak of Israel's brutal war on Gaza, occupation forces have ramped up their repression of the peaceful residents of Masafer Yatta, a West Bank region where Israel is forcibly evicting Palestinians from their homes to make way for a “military firing zone” - illegal under international law.
His village was recently shown in the Oscar-winning documentary No Other Land, which documents persistent vicious attacks by extremist Israeli settlers (often backed up by Israeli soldiers) for years, as the occupation tries to frighten Palestinian residents into leaving their homes.
Activists in Masafer Yatta, including Mohammad Huraini are refusing to be scared into leaving their homes. They have been documenting forced evictions and settler attacks since they were children, filming as settlers and the army approach with guns and shoot at the Palestinian residents, before sharing these videos to social media.
You can see Mohammad's vital work on X (@MHuraini) or Instagram (@Mohammad_Hesham_Huraini).
With Israeli aggression ramping up following the outbreak of war, and the government issuing thousands of guns to Israeli settlers, continuing this activism has become far more dangerous and very difficult to sustain.
Mohammad now needs money to rent a car so that they can visit and document the villages who suffer attacks. Having a car is essential to getting to these places quickly as possible, ensuring the attacks are documented for the world to see. These activists are not working with a salary, so the money will also help to cover the living expenses of Mohammad and his team during the three month project.
Now, you can make a real difference in showing the world the reality of what is happening in the West Bank. PLEASE donate to help those who are facing forced eviction and settler attacks every day to continue their work in shining a light on Israeli war crimes in the West Bank.
Without activists showing the world what is happening, these crimes will go unnoticed. Support Mohammad Huraini as he documents daily Israeli crimes in his community.

FT.com censorship: JP Morgan in talks to be banker to inhumane and fake 'board of peace'

FT.com published a piece on JP Morgan being in talks to be banker to the disgusting and inappropriately-named 'board of peace'. Yet again the FT (to its utter shame) blocked comments.
I sent an email to the FT expressing my disgust (see below). The image below is from the article showing the low-lifes who have (presumably) signed-up to join. (I should have written 'you' instead of 'your'). I then sent an email to Dimon using an address I found online (not sure it will get through), and also I have a formal complaints address in Scotland.
This is how enablers, bankers, lawyers, accountants (to name just a few), enable genocide and other atrocities to actually occur. They supply the infrastructure - the services and products. The media and lobbyists are further critical enablers - they spreads false narratives to cover up or twist the facts.
The government creates laws to enable these enablers to act with impunity and laws that crackdown on dissenters, laws that police, lawyers, and the courts enforce with violence and without any consideration of justice ("lawfare").
How can so many be so blinded to upholding human rights and justice? Money and power corrupt people and coercion and legal threats break them.
The money is supplied by Israeli supporters - the billionaires who use the compounding effect to amass fortunes in perpetuity that grow ever larger by the day. They use that intererst to bribe and capture these enablers and to fund political campaigns so they have political power to create the laws that enable the system to operate.
The threats are supplied by Israeli supporters who use the law to theaten the livelihoods and the reputations of people who oppose them.
The veiled threats and other forms of persuasion are supplied by a vast and organised network of lobbyists and campaigners the pro-Israelis have amassed over decades who infiltrate many corners of society. These networks use IT to access databases of personal information on people they see as either being sympathetic to their cause or as an enemy. They use that data to recruit targets or to destroy them. Look at the companies engaged in AI and data capture - many are actively involved in enabling the genocide by the Israelis - Palantir for example.
Money must be taken out of politics; the judiciary must be independent of the government; freedom of speech must be upheld; personal data must be protected; juries must be allowed to decide legal cases; funders, sponsors and conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
